This home page will introduce you to The Daring Way™, and the work of Dr. Brené Brown. Take some time to listen to her TED talks in the links below. Then explore the menu to learn about OPPORTUNITIES for you to participate in a Daring Greatly™ or Rising Strong™ group or workshop that is just right for you.
Daring Greatly™ was created with the primary focus on developing shame resilience skills and a courage practice of wholehearted living that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
Rising Strong™ is based on the simple physics of vulnerability: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. This is a curriculum about what it takes to get back up, and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.
These groups and workshop experiences are based on the work of Dr. Brené Brown Ph.D, LMSW, a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past 16 years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. Her groundbreaking research has been featured on PBS, NPR, CNN, and Oprah Winfrey's Super Soul Sunday. Brené's work is transforming individual, marriages, families, and the work place, and it is powerful because it is tapping into what we were all profoundly and deeply created for...love and belonging. Dr. Brené Brown is the author of Dare To Lead (2018), Braving the Wilderness (2017), Rising Strong (2015), Daring Greatly (2012), The Gifts of Imperfection (2010), and I Thought It Was Just Me ( 2007).
